NIM FURNITURE — GUINDY, CHENNAI
NIM Furniture is our first sample website for a furniture manufacturer: office steel furniture and wooden furniture, made in Guindy, Chennai. It shows what a manufacturer's website can be when the catalogue is treated as the product.
The home page opens on a slow, cinematic scene, then moves through the collections one scroll at a time. Behind it sits a full catalogue — eighteen collections in four ranges (Home & Interiors, Office, Institutional Seating, and Steel & Stainless Steel) holding 240 pieces — and a 3D showroom where visitors can turn demonstration models. Every picture is honestly captioned "Design illustration", and every model is labelled as a demonstration model.
A visitor who likes something does not hunt for a phone number: each page carries a one-tap WhatsApp enquiry that opens with their message already written, a call button, and an enquiry form.
A furniture catalogue is hundreds of near-identical pieces. Shown as a plain grid it reads as a price list; shown too artfully it hides what is for sale. The site had to feel premium and still let a buyer find a chair, a cupboard or an auditorium row in a few taps.
We grouped 240 pieces into eighteen collections under four ranges, gave each its own page, and wrapped the catalogue in scroll-driven motion and a 3D showroom — then kept the buyer one tap from a conversation with a WhatsApp enquiry on every page. The code stays fast by default: Next.js with server-rendered pages and prepared image sizes.
